J is for Juliet : Keep Clear! Scarf
In the world of international maritime flag signalizing, a blue field with a white bar across the center represents the letter "J" when spelling out a message. Used on its own, it signals "On fire!", "Dangerous cargo!", and/or "Keep Clear!” We hope you won’t need to use this scarf to flag down the Coast Guard, which is one of the island’s most valuable and respected institutions, and one we support. Our version is inspired by Chilmark's natural features of scrub oaks and crows on a field of blue sea. This scarf is a combination of land and sea, which perfectly captures our island life.
